Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 July 2026
Using the service
These Terms apply when you use Receipt Tracker, operated by Apptista. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Receipt Tracker helps you store, organise, scan, and export personal or business receipts. Some features may be limited during the soft launch.
Your account
Provide a valid email address and keep access to your inbox secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account from Account → Profile.
Acceptable use
- Only upload files you are authorised to process.
- Do not access another user’s data, disrupt the service, abuse its APIs, or scrape it in bulk.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or malicious content.
OCR and your content
OCR is optional and requires your consent before a file is sent to our provider. OCR results can be wrong, so review them before using them for tax, accounting, or reimbursement purposes. We do not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice.
You keep ownership of the data and files you upload. You give us permission to host, process, and display them only as needed to provide the service, including through the providers described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and suspension
We aim to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change features, impose reasonable usage limits, or suspend accounts that breach these Terms or threaten the service.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice, and OCR results may be inaccurate.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where the operator is established, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country provide otherwise. Any dispute may be dealt with by the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
